Career Highlights: One of the finest running backs in pro football history, Marcus Allen was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003…In a stellar 16-year NFL career (11 with the Oakland Raiders and five with the Kansas City Chiefs), Allen rushed for 145 career touchdowns…A six-time Pro Bowler, Allen was the MVP of Super Bowl XVIII when the Raiders beat the Washington Redskins and he scored two touchdowns, including a spectacular 74-yard romp… He is second on the NFL’s all-time rushing touchdown list with 123, behind Emmitt Smith’s 155..He carried the ball 3,022 times for 12,243 yards, and also had 5,411 yards receiving…Allen held the NFL record for most consecutive games with 100 or more rushing yards with 11 (10/28/85 to 9/14/86), until his record was eclipsed by Barry Sanders’ 14 games in 1997…Allen also possesses the fourth-highest NFL single-season mark for most rushing and receiving yards combined (2,314 in 1985)…Among his many accolades throughout his career including being named the 1982 NFL Rookie of the Year, the 1985 NFL Most Valuable Player and to the 1982 and 1985 All-Pro Teams…Allen won the Heisman Trophy as a senior at the University of Southern California in 1981, when he set an all-time single-season rushing record with 2,342 yards…He also was a consensus All-America Choice, was named College Player of the Year by Football News and won the Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award and was the Pac-10 Player of the Year…Allen was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000…Allen worked for CBS Sports for many years and for the NFL Network.

Career Highlights: Hall of Fame quarterback John Elway retired in 1999 after leading the Denver Broncos to five Super Bowls, including victories in Super Bowls XXXII (beat Green Bay 31-24) and XXXIII (defeated Atlanta 34-19)…Elway was voted MVP of that Super bowl, which would prove to be the last game of his career…Elway was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2004, his first year of eligibility…He was selected to an NFL record-tying nine Pro Bowls…Named AFC Offensive Player of the Week 15 times, Elway is the all-time leader in victories by a starting quarterback including come-from-behind wins…With his enduring competitive spirit, he will forever be remembered for his 47 game-winning or game-tying drives in the fourth quarter (an NFL record)…Elway ranks third behind Brett Favre and Dan Marino in most major NFL career passing categories, including passing yards (51,475), attempts (7,250), completions (4,123) and total offense (54,882)…Elway also holds several Broncos franchise records including most touchdown passes (300), most career passing yards (51,475), most career completions (4,123), and winning percentage (.643)…Voted a consensus All-American at Stanford, Elway finished second in the Heisman Trophy balloting…He set Pac-10 and Stanford career records for total offense and passing…Elway also played baseball for the New York Yankees Oneonta Single-A farm club in 1982…He was the Yankees first summer draft selection in 1981…Elway served as co-owner of Arena Football’s Colorado Crush and was chairman of the Arena Football League’s executive committee for several years… Elway has played in all of the past 21 Celebrity Golf Championships at Edgewood Tahoe (1990 – 2010)…He has posted nine top-10 finishes including tying for second in the 1999 tournament.


Jim McMahon

Career Highlights: Recognized as one of the grittiest quarterbacks of all time, Jim McMahon led the Chicago Bears offense for the first eight seasons of his NFL career from 1982 to 1989 and drove them to a 46-10 victory over the New England Patriots in the 1986 Super Bowl…McMahon, who was also known for the variety of headbands he wore, was named to the Pro Bowl that season…McMahon also spent time during his 15-year NFL career with San Diego, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Arizona and then earned a second Super Bowl ring with the 1996 Green Bay Packers…He finished his career in 1996 having played 120 regular season games and completing 1,492 passes for 18,148 total yards including 100 touchdown passes…He was voted United Press International’s NFC Conference Rookie of the Year in 1982…Selected as a consensus All-American at Brigham Young University, McMahon led the nation in passing in 1980 and 1981 and was the first player to throw for more than 4,000 yards in a season…He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1998….Since retiring from football in 1997, McMahon has worked as a restaurant owner and motivational speaker…He recently became a part-owner of the Indoor Football League’s Chicago Slaughter…He has also spent time in Iraq with the USO to visit American forces…McMahon has played in all 21 Celebrity Golf Championships at Edgewood Tahoe (1990 – 2010).

Billy Joe Tolliver

Career Highlights: Recognized as a colorful, hard-nosed quarterback, Billy Joe Tolliver enjoyed a productive 12-year NFL career…A second-round draft pick of the San Diego Chargers in 1989, Tolliver started the final four games of his rookie season with the Chargers, including a 24 of 39 performance at Washington for a career-best 350 yards and two touchdowns… His 350 yards were the fifth highest total by a rookie quarterback in NFL history…Tolliver had a streak of 140 straight passes without an interception in 1990, the second longest in team history, behind only Dan Fouts’ club record 168…Throughout his career, Tolliver also played for the Atlanta Falcons, Houston Oilers, New Orleans Saints and Chicago Bears…Tolliver still holds several single-game passing records for Texas Tech including yardage (446) and touchdowns in a single game (5)…He threw for a SWC-record 244 yards as a freshman in his first collegiate game vs. Texas Christian University…An avid golfer, Tolliver has two American Century Celebrity Golf Championships to his credit (2005 and 1996)…He has posted eight other top-five finishes in the past 12 years, including finishing tied for third last year in 2009…He won the 2003 Tom Dreesen Celebrity Invitational with partners Jim McMahon and Tom Dreesen and also the 2003 CPT Kiawah Island Pro-Celebrity Challenge with Hank Kuehne and Mark Rypien …Tolliver also won the 2002 Mohegan Sun Team Championship with partner John Congemi…He has been playing golf since 1987, when he was introduced to the game by his cousin while a sophomore at Texas Tech.

Jerome Bettis

Former All-Pro Running Back
Career Highlights: Considered one of the best big running backs of his era, Jerome Bettis ranks fifth on the NFL’s all-time rushing list with 13,294 yards….Nicknamed “The Bus,” the 13-year All-Pro retired immediately following the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10 win over the Seattle Seahawks in the 2006 Super Bowl in his hometown of Detroit…Picked by the Los Angeles Rams as the 10th pick overall in the 1993 NFL Draft out of Notre Dame, Bettis began his highly successful rookie campaign rushing for 1,429 yards…He became one of only eight rookies to rush for 200 yards in a single game and the first Rams rookie to rush for more than 1,000 yards in a season since Eric Dickerson…Following his highly successful rookie season he received post-season honors including the Co-Rookie of the Year award and The Sporting News Rookie of the Year, and the Rams MVP award…A six-time Pro Bowl selection (including his rookie season), Bettis played the first three years of his career with the Rams before being traded to the Steelers where he played for 10 illustrious seasons…Bettis was one of only six players in NFL history to rush for more than 13,000 yards…He also was one of only eight players in history to rush for 1,000 yards for eight or more seasons…Other Bettis accolades include 1996 Comeback Player of the Year, three-time Steelers MVP and the winner of the Walter Payton Man of the Year for his contributions to the community… He founded the “The Bus Stops Here” Foundation to help disadvantaged and underprivileged kids…Bettis is currently the host of The Jerome Bettis Show on WPXI-TV in Pittsburgh…He also is a commentator for the NFL Network and a former NBC analyst for the “Football Night in America” studio show…His book “Driving Home: My Unforgettable Super Bowl Run,” came out in 2006….He also owns a restaurant in Pittsburgh called Jerome Bettis Grille 36.

Career Highlights: Jared Allen is a three-time All-Pro defensive end for the Minnesota Vikings...An explosive player, Allen leads the NFL in sacks since 2004 with 72…He has been dubbed the “sack machine” for his passionate pursuit of quarterbacks…Last season against the Green Bay Packers (October 5, 2009) Allen set a career-high with 4.5 sacks, as well as having his third safety in the last two years…Allen led the Vikings with 14.5 sacks in his first two years with the team…He has earned First Team AP All-Pro honors and Pro Bowl berths the past three years (2007-09)…In 2008, Allen tied a Vikings and NFL record with two safeties on the season and helped the Vikings defense rank #1 in the NFL against the run (2008)…In 2009, he led the Vikings to rank second overall in defense in the league and third against both the run and passing…Acquired by the Vikings in a trade with the Kansas City in April 2008, Allen spent the first four years of the NFL career with the Chiefs…He was drafted by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft and quickly became a fixture in rebuilding the team’s defense that had ranked near last in the NFL….
