I think the strategy he use is allusion. Because when Martin Luther King Jr. is using the Bible referring to his work and reason. The reason he is choosing the Bible is because one of the Bible use “Holy” also the truth. Martin Luther king says his statements openly. "If I lived in a communist country today where certain principles dear to the Christian faith are suppressed, I believe I would openly advocate disobeying these anti-religious laws." Martin does not fear his punishment because he know the real true and what is not true. A lot of people has read the Bible or some story about it. Also his own audience of preachers who had value the Bible as a sacred piece of some material that they have devoted a lot of life’s to advocated to some people. Martin Luther king says that the Bible talk about love. “We who engage in nonviolent direct action are not the creators of tension." He shows that what he wants is peace also not start a fight and be nonviolent When he add the allusion to the Bible in his good letter he really add a lot personal connection, like terms and more. He is a man of god and it shows that in his work can be related closely to his work on the Bible. The king says in the letter that the rime given to us right now is mainly for us to do well and not to start a lot of fight also arguments between others Martin Luther state "Now is the time to make real the promise of democracy, and transform our pending national elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood," so that mean that a lot of people supposed to live in this word and love each other like a family As men of god they need to see that their assumptions and the actions are so wrong also they need to take a minute to see what DR.KING is doing
